This Privacy Policy describes what personal information Profluent collects on https://www.profluent.bio/ (including any subdomains) and any content, functionality, and service offered on or through the Website (collectively, the “Website”) and how that information is used.  The “Website” also includes any outputs generated through the use of our Protein2PAM server.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices with respect to the processing of personal information or changes in applicable law. We encourage You to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed about our information practices. We will indicate above the date on which this Privacy Policy was last modified. Your continued use of the Website constitutes Your agreement to the Privacy Policy and any updates.

VII. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16

The Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If You are under 16, do not use or provide any information on the Website or provide any information about Yourself to Profluent Bio. If we learn we have collected or received personal information on the Website from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to Your computer’s hard drive through Your web browser for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to authenticate users when they visit our Website.

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. While the Website does not respond to “do not track” signals in Your web browser, we do not track the activity of users of the Website across online services and our Website.

IX. CALIFORNIA SHINE THE LIGHT DISCLOSURE

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits California residents to annually request and obtain information free of charge about what personal information is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not distribute Your personal information to outside parties without Your consent for their direct marketing.
